Work Package 3 - Training and empowerment activities for women politicians and candidates

The Centre for European Constitutional Law – Themistoklis and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation has undertaken the drafting of a special educational material for this target group, based upon primary research on attitudes and perceptions regarding gender inequality in the coverage of women politicians by the media. Based on this material the Foundation organized four empowerment seminars for women politicians and candidates in Athens and Thessaloniki.

A direct result from the above activities is the production of a special Guide for women participating in public debates and fora. This Guide aims at providing practical advice and recommendations, in order for them to recognize and confront sexism and discriminatory remarks.
